Our Story:
Finding a place to stay for almost 5days is not easy and not cheap at all. Lucky me, I saw a promo at Metrodeal. We booked a hotel accommodation at Allsons Inn via Metrodeal, its worth 799 per head for 3days and 2nights. We plan to just pay another fee for the remaining days.
Before I booked the hotel I checked for reviews and photos online, some were good and some were not okay with the Inn and the service they offer. Well, here's my review.
The hotel is located in the heart of Cebu City. We arrived by 2am, the earliest check in is 5am, there is a fee of ₱130 per hour ahead of 5am, so that is 3hours, we paid ₱450, not bad. As we got into our room we lay down and slept.
We stayed on a one air conditioned bedroom with 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed. The room is spacious. There is an old model tv with limited channels on it. They have a small table with one chair, this cannot fit the three of us when eating. They have a cabinet for your stuff and the CR is mukhang pambahay na cr but clean, there are towels to use but there's no toiletries, good thing we brought our own toiletries. One thing I like about the CR is the temperature of the water, its warm.
Now the bad things about the room..
1. The color of the room, is yellow.. and its so bright in the morning, really painful in the eyes
2. The room is not soundproof, you can really here noises outside the room and its loud, like the passing vehicles
3. The bed, it was not comfortable sleeping on it, the mattress was hard and has plastic and I did not slept well during my whole stay.
The service in Allsons Inn, is really good. Kind and friendly staff, from the booking process, to check in, til check out. The house keeping is also good, Mew accidentally spill a drink on the bed so we called for the house keeper to clean it.
During our last stay we paid for the regular price of ₱1250 pesos for the room but it only cover 2pax and it includes breakfast for two. We paid an additional person fee of ₱500 but it doesn't include a free breakfast. They showed us the menu for breakfast and asked us what time do we want it to be serve so they can schedule it in the morning.
They served the breakfast in our room on time. We had a 3pcs pancakes with mapple syrup and butter on it. It was good and very generous serving.
Then we also had a ham and cheese sandwich with a hot chocolate drink called Milo. Mew just request for a glass of water.
They also have other facilities like the Roof Top Resto and the gym, but we did not get to explore them as we were always on the go exploring Cebu City. We only stayed in the hotel just to rest and sleep.
