Our Story:
Its our second day now here in Cebu City, and we work up super early to prepare for our next adventure!

We head on the Bus Station at 2am and took a ride going to Oslob, the bus fare is around ₱250  and it is a 4-hour drive, so took a long nap. At the bus, you can ask the driver's assistant to drop you at Oslob WhaleShark Watching.

As expected, the bus dropped us off at the excat location where we will do the activity, We got there 6am.

We entered the facility and headed to the registration, it cost ₱600 per head for 30mins. You can also rent their water cameras in case you did not have any. There are lockers for your bags that you can rent for ₱100 each.

Before going into the ocean, we rode a jeepney going to another facility that holds a seminar, we listen to the speaker as she talks about guidelines and rules regarding with the activity. Like, no using of lotions and sun blocks because these chemicals are harmful for the gentle giants and no swimming very near these mammals.

After signing the waver, we got our life vest on and snorkeling gears and ready to hit the ocean! Be very careful with the things you bring in the water like the snorkeling gear and your cameras. The water is very deep!

Then, we rode the boat and got excited as the whale sharks were coming towards us. It was really amazing and one of the best thing I have ever since in my entire life :)

We swum with them and watched them pass by.. We had a little problem though, It was very difficult swimming with the life vest on, our bangkero said we should try removing the life vest and swim without it. Scary!

The water is really deep and I dont have the confidence to swim it. But we took the risk and removed out life vest. It was fine and more comfortable swimming. We stayed near the boat for safety and I was holding with the boat's rope so I wont go far and sink.

We were all enjoying, but I saw mew just seating in the boat! He is not swimming. Why!? o yah, He is scared with the deep ocean.. I convinced him to try it and just take it easy, and at the end of the day we had fun.

I never thought I would experience this.. I mean, I only these creatures on TV and see celebrities do it.. but now I got to do it too, #blessed lol

The 30mins was over, we went back to the shore and rode a vehicle going to the first facility where we left our bags, then we took a shower and head on to the next adventure!

Some people say we should not practice this kind of activity as we are disturbing and upsetting the ecological balance for these creatures. which I somehow support.
