Our Story:
We thought of having korean food for dinner. We walked our way to Oppa from Friendship Terminal MiniStop up to the end of the walking street. As we pass by, we see these clubs, foreigners and barbie dolls all over the place. Oppa is located at the beginning of walking street near Mcdonalds - Balibago highway. I think oppa means “papa” and this is only based from what I hear with koreanovelas I watch in TV.

Outside the restaurant, you will see the dirty kitchen, where the chefs and cooks prepare and cook the food. We have to pass through here to enter the diner.

It is a bit hot inside though there are air conditions. It is a two-story diner and you can pick where you want to sit. They also have a TV with Korean shoes on it - no translation. The place seems to be peaceful and somehow clean.

We sat on the 2nd floor of the diner. There are waiting staff on 2nd floor, that is a good thing because you will no longer have to wait for waiter to come up. As we sat, they handed out the menu, since it is our first time here, it took us a while to pick our order.

Finally we got an order! As we placed our order, they gave us the side dishes we can enjoy while waiting for the food. Side dishes were kimchi, sweetened sweet potato, lettuce salad at macaroni salad. There is also free iced coffee :)

As we were waiting for the food, we test if wifi is available at the diner, and boom! there is free wifi, the password is posted on the wall. Yosh! Just a few minutes our order came.

Ramyun

Just like any ordinary Ramyun, it taste the same but its ok, we liked it. and its a little bit spicier that the others. Its also a little bit salty, we thought maybe the water on it was not just enough, So we added water and it became tasteless.

Pork tonkatsu

I am picky with food and sauce so we asked if they can separate the sauce with the meal and they did. Its okay, like a normal fried pork.

Sweet and spicy chicken

It tastes good, the sauce is good. Its 7pcs chicken and its worth it on its price.
Good for sharing.

Side dishes

We both dont like kimchi so we didnt touch it. The lettuce salad was goof. I really like the sweet potatos too.

There! busog lusog! Our bill was 350-400 pesos.

Since we were full already and its getting really late. we asked if we can take out the chiken. They packed it in a big styro plate together with new side dishes on it!
