Ramen at Rei Rei Ken

Budget for the food trip:
Miso Ramen: ₱375
Tonkatsu Ramen: ₱325
Total Cost: ₱700 for two

Today we want ramen noodles for dinner. So we went to Rei Rei Ken at SM Clark, we thought its an authentic Japanese ramen so we gave it a try. And here it goes.

We went inside and saw an electric fan, it's not so hot but I still asked the waitress if they got no aircon, she said it's broken so ya anyway.



As we sat down, the menu was presented to us. They placed a paper place-mat spoon and fork and chopstick. Then i wispher to mewmew "we got no escape now" lol. But the thing that locked us down this place is when they served the tea. So wala na talaga kameng takas. The staffs are nice and friendly

We spent almost 5minutes looking at the menu. I thought of ordering a full set meal but mewmew told me to just order ramen since that is why we are here and we can eat the other meals on the menu in other places for a cheaper price.

We then ordered tonkutsu ramen and miso ramen. Worth 350-400pesos, expensive! And one of the reason why we tried eating here is because we want to taste that circle swirly stuff in the noodles. We ask the waiter what it is called, and we were so thrilled knowing that it is called "naruto"! Wow.

As we waited for our order we talked about naruto, the anime character and it was fun :)

Order came in, itadakimasu!

One serving is big enough and good for sharing. First thing we did was eating the naruto. It taste nothing, its tasteless for us, its like a gelatin i thought it was way special. But we're ok with it at least now we know. We first taste the tonkatsu ramen mewmew likes it then we taste the miso ramen i liked it.


The tonkatsu ramen was not hot when it was served. The taste is not ordinary, its worthy of its price. It got slices of pork, half boiled egg, many veggies, a naruto and noodles. But as we finish the bowl it became salty and that is not ok.
